James Bannan has worked in the IT industry for over 14 years, during which time he has worked on helpdesks, managed networks and systems, architected and deployed Windows operating systems. Now, he works as a consultant and solutions architect. He has worked with multi-national corporations, small businesses, educational institutions, government departments, and has done a long stint as an IT journalist.\r\n\r\nWhen it comes to technology, James is a dedicated generalist, with interests ranging from the client, to the datacenter, to the cloud and everything in between. His particular focus is System Center, Windows, and Windows Server, but he also enjoys finding time to build virtualization platforms, find out the latest in storage and networking, and see what's happening with the latest Linux distros.\r\n\r\nJames is a passionate communicator, whether through presenting or writing.
